BH Series Late Fee Calculator
BH Tax Late Fee Calculator
Additional Fee
The BH Series Late Fee Calculator estimates the additional fee for delayed BH motor vehicle tax payment using the delay wording in the notified framework. It is useful for a quick check before opening the official payment portal.
How the late-fee estimate works
Enter the number of days after the due date. FMtak treats the first seven days as the stated window and applies ₹100 per day to the delay beyond that window. The calculation is deliberately shown separately from the underlying road tax.
| Days after due date | Chargeable days in tool | Illustrative additional fee |
|---|---|---|
| 5 days | 0 | ₹0 |
| 7 days | 0 | ₹0 |
| 10 days | 3 | ₹300 |
| 20 days | 13 | ₹1,300 |
What the calculator does not know
The tool cannot see your VAHAN record, actual due date, payment history, authority waiver, later notification or portal-side adjustment. It therefore gives an estimate only. If the government portal shows a different fee, the official amount should be treated as final.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Do not count days from the registration date if the portal shows a separate tax due date.
- Do not add the late fee twice if the government portal already includes it.
- Do not assume a projected future due date is legally binding.
- Save the official payment receipt after completion.
